#44 Valentine Banquet.
by Erin Napier
Tonight the youth and childrens’ departments of our church put on a sweetheart banquet, and it was honestly one of the most romantic things I’ve ever seen (at a church at least). We strung lights up high from wall to wall, scattered white pillar candles around the room, set the tables with red gingham linens and white roses, put on some Louis Armstrong and Billie Holiday, served the guests their meal, then they watched An Affair to Remember. Ben and I are planning to watch it tomorrow night since we were on our feet and in the kitchen all night. It was so sweet to see the ladies clutching their husbands and blotting away their tears as they walked to their cars. Oh how I do love love!
