#52 The Card Catalog.
by Erin Napier
After a month of scouring eBay and craigslist to no avail, a vintage card catalog just fell into my possession yesterday. One of my dad’s awesome clients, a local pharmacist, said he just happened to have one and that I could have it. Free. Of. Charge. Though it’s a little small for all my samples, I can’t tell you how proud of it I am:
Last night after giving it a thorough cleaning, I labeled the drawers and filled them with all the different Lucky Luxe collections. Isn’t it the coolest?
The thing that makes this story even better is that a friend in our church told me where I could get two more big antique card catalogs tomorrow. For a small donation. And to think, I almost spent hundreds of dollars on something I’d have to drive hours to get. I’m so excited!
