#531 Mitford.

For several weeks now I’ve been working through the Mitford books, and while they started out slow, I’ve found them to be like comfort food for the mind—something easy and upbeat I can read every night at bedtime. The books are about a fictional idyllic little town in the mountains of North Carolina where every character has a quirky story, a southern accent, and the town’s Episcopal priest, Father Tim, is the main character. If you need something light to read, the Mitford books are perfect.
Now I can’t wait to get my bubble bath and head to Mitford before I turn in for the night. It’s a nice place to vacation.
