#620 Thumbelina.
I spent most of today painting this *ginormous* Walter Anderson print, Thumbelina, that Annalee’s mama bought for the baby’s room. I’ve always been in love with his prints and I never tire of how easy and rewarding it is to slowly work across them filling in with vibrant watercolor. I’m not quite finished, but it won’t take much time tomorrow to complete.
After I was tired of painting for the night I had to get serious about practicing for the show I’m playing with Christy on Friday night at The Loft. If you have nothing better to do, you ought to come by. I like to see friendly faces when I’m playing music.
Actually, I prefer playing for strangers because it doesn’t matter how it sounds. If I’m just being honest.
But you can come if you want to.
