I was the last person on earth to eat hibachi, until tonight.
We decided to give it a try, thinking Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse in north Laurel had been open for several days by now. Turns out tonight was the grand opening and everyone in town wanted to try it too. Miraculously, we only had to wait 5 minutes for a table, were served quickly, it was SO delicious, and even though it’s expensive I have enough leftover to eat it for a huge lunch tomorrow. Dave wanted to go with us, so we picked him up!
Chicken hibachi comes with chicken that is to die for, stir fried rice and noodles, vegetables, Miso soup and salad. I was more than stuffed.
You ought to go. Expect to pay around $20 per person, but I promise it’s worth it!
