#1,979 Sweet Summertime.

After a long, fun, exhausting week for all of us, Ben picked up some steaks and Jim got some fresh ground chuck from The Knight Butcher and grilled out for our crew. I sat there in their backyard, on what is likely to be the coolest day we’ll feel all summer, and I felt distinctly thankful to be alive and listening to Louis Armstrong and watching the moon and the stars between rustling green leaves.

It feels very plain to me that God must love us tiny humans here on earth so very much. He sure went to a lot of trouble to make perfect summer nights.
