#2,412 Mama & Mother Goose.
by Erin Napier
I spent most of my afternoon with mama while Ben was busy in the woodshop and tonight I feel so thankful for the way she swoops in the rescue me when I feel overwhelmed. Today she helped me a file a mountain of clean laundry and went grocery shopping with me at Walmart.
Pretty sure that’s the first time I’ve seen her in the dreaded Walley World since I was a little child. It made chores feel fun to have her with me today.
And I spent a little while this morning sitting on the front porch with Mammaw, who specially requested that I grab her sunglasses before we headed out of her room. We sat there a long while, talking about the flowers and the weather. And I loved every moment of it.
